Picking Blueberries

Saturday I thought it would be fun to take the kids blueberry picking like we did last year on the 4th of July. I actually wanted to do it this year (on the 4th) but I was sick, so we decided to wait.
Any who, we got there around 10 and left about 10:30 ha We picked a little over 1 pound of berries and the kids were "so tired" and "so thirsty" and "needed to take a break". So we decided to pack it up and head back home where they were totally fine riding their bikes outside with their friends.
They did grab the berries though and share them with their friends, so I was excited that they cared a tiny bit but last year we got a ton and they had SO much fun.
Oh well, maybe it was an off day, but you'd better believe I am going to do it next year I want this to be a tradition we'll just choose a better day . And it will be easier next year too when Berk is not running away and eating everything she touches because she thinks it's edible. ha
